Think about this! No, really think about it. Christ preached. His reputation was significant and positive. His disciples were ready to baptize. The people had heard about the amazing movement that Christ led. His example is still impacting our world today.

“That day about three thousand took him at his word, were baptized and were signed up. They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. Everyone around was in awe—all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.” (Acts 2:41- 47 MSG)

OK, what about today. Do you and your family follow a pattern of daily worship? Is every meal a celebration of what God is doing? Do we commit to the scriptural teaching in our churches? Do we pray individually and collectively with other believers? During this time of political and economic unrest, do we live in harmony with other believers?

Christ set the example. His disciples were ready and prepared. Then, the people followed accordingly.

Let’s set an example for our church, our neighbors and our world. Let’s set an awesome example of demonstrating God’s love each and every day.

Leadership is … praying toward miracles.
