Laurie KennedyGod has given us a New Year. He has given us another opportunity. Another chance to make things right, offer grace and forgiveness and to step out and demonstrate God’s love.

I’d like to begin this year by offering my very special thanks to you, learning and growing leaders world-wide. We are on a journey together. It is my privilege to connect with you weekly as we learn and grow together.

One of my favorite questions is asking where people see our Lord’s fingerprint. I rarely hear about God’s fingerprint in expensive programs but I do hear hundreds of examples of individual acts of service leading to changed lives.

As leaders, many of our phone calls and meetings are difficult. Discussions start or end with prayer. Yet, the challenge of repairing relationships that have hardened is an ongoing concern. The greater concern is those relationships with our Heavenly Father that have become strained and distant. Yet, there are those wonderful meetings where tears are shed, forgiveness is offered, accepted and relationships healed. The difficulties, hurts and concerns of the past disappear when individuals pray, seek forgiveness and put God’s plan first. It is these very positive relationship building events that make the positive changes in our personal lives and in the corporate lives of our churches. The process of personal and organizational healing is wonderful to watch and the life changing impact is immense.

In our New Year, I look for additional challenges and changes in lives.  A dedication to make things right with family, friends and co-workers. I also look for improved dedication to our Heavenly Father. It is the New Year and we’ll talk about goals and resolutions. So let’s set personal goals to accomplish significant personal and organizational change for God’s glory.

I’m very thankful and appreciative of the Pastors and churches leaders that I work and pray with. It is also my privilege to pray for you, our world-wide leaders.

Leadership is planning your New Year to accomplish more for God’s glory.

Yours in Service,
