  5. Do you understand the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization and are you clear about the strategy and how it will impact your new role?
  6. Have you reviewed an agenda, a planning document or Board Minutes over the past 12 months and are you satisfied that the right items are discussed and covered by the Board you are being asked to be responsible for?
  7. Who should you talk to who could give you additional input on what this job may entail?
  8. Have you talked to key advisors and where appropriate, key shareholders?
