Your Pastor, Board and people all have the same Vision. Right? It seems obvious that our leaders, volunteers and people in church all need to work together. In another sense the idea of a whole church working and growing together in sync seems like an impossible dream.

“We who believe are carefully joined together with Christ as parts of a beautiful, constantly growing temple for God.” (Ephesians 2:21 TLB)

Think about a jigsaw puzzle: a thousand unique colourful pieces spread over your dining room table. There are different shapes, a palate of primary colours mixed with a multitude of unique hues. The individual pieces without a picture make absolutely no sense. That’s your church without a vision. However, when you have a picture, the pieces all fit together.

Your Vision is the ‘What’ God wants you to accomplish. At The Jethro Group we pray and work toward the day when ‘Healthy Leaders lead, serve and care with integrity’. Our reality is that every blog, seminar, coaching session and writing event is geared toward this Vision. We avoid anything that is not designed to move us forward.

The Vision for your church or mission is a picture of what God wants to accomplish through you and your people.  We want a Vision statement that our people own and identify with. Something that challenges and inspires people to pray, share and work towards its accomplishment.

Remember, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV)

We’ll pray as your church moves toward a God-directed Vision.
